Hart Typhoon weathers the storm

A recent typhoon in the western Pacific put Hart’s toughest storm shutters through their paces.

Typhoon Wipha causes damage across the western Pacific

In July 2025 Typhoon Wipha, a moderate-strength storm, brought wind gusts of up to 103mph and torrential rains across East and Southeast Asia before making landfall in Guangdong, China.

Wipha resulted in major travel disruptions, infrastructure damage (fallen trees, scaffolding collapse), flooding, and contributed indirectly to fatalities, especially in Vietnam and South Korea.

Hart storm shutters provide protection

Despite the extreme weather, Hart Typhoon storm shutters delivered high performance protection.

Hart’s agent in Hong Kong attended multiple damage reports and confirmed the Typhoon shutter performed as required without incident.
