High Security Rolling Shutters

Security rolling shutters: SR1 – SR4 high security to LPS 1175

High specification, robust protection shutter security

Security rolling shutters are most common in commercial settings, creating a physical barrier to stop ‘would be’ intruders, vandals, trespassers and burglars.

In the UK there are different types of ‘shutters’ available, such as shutter security grilles which better protect windows and doors yet don’t hinder flow of light and air.

The term ‘security rolling shutters’ refers to doors that form a strong barrier, prohibiting natural flow of light and air. They are widely used in banks, museums, prisons, airports, warehouses and data centres.

Hart security shutters are manufactured in Britain to deliver exceptional levels of protection and durability. Faced with increasing threats of international terror and serious crime, Hart invested heavily in designing and testing these high-security counter terrorism shutter systems.

Our range of security shutters, branded as Terror Screen, are manufactured to Loss Prevention Standards as approved by the LPC Fire and Security Board and Expert Group G referred to as LPS1175, giving extra shutter security without compromising reliability.

The LPS1175 rolling shutters provide your business with shutter security to protect vulnerable parts of a building from opportunist attack or deliberate forced entry.

The heat produced from a fire can cause windows to shatter, meaning hot embers pass through and spread the flames. With top quality rolling shutters that are fire rated, you can increase shutter security and protection for staff, buildings and equipment.

Security shutters may not add an awful amount of charm or character to your property, however they are highly functional and can be finished in a wide range of colours.
