Site Supervisor Service and Install

As a well-established and respected family manufacturing business we have ambitious plans to grow and enhance our service department which maintains and services automatic industrial doors across the UK. As part of the expansion, we are looking to hire a Site Supervisor.

SUMMARY

As the Site Supervisor, you will manage and control the site employees and logistics for service, repair and new installations. The role will involve the implementation of all agreed strategies and policies including recruitment, training and management of engineers nationwide. You will deliver an efficient customer-focused operation ensuring compliance to all health and safety and quality standards. You will be responsible for producing accurate reports to P & L management accounts and KPI’s to agreed strategy and policies.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SITE SUPERVISOR

  • Health and safety policy implementation for people and equipment, retaining records as required by the ISO 9001 quality system
  • Recruit and training of service engineers
  • Maintain PDP and appraisals for constant improvement
  • Responsibility for cost achievement targets for labour on site, hired in equipment involved in installation and repairs and all expenses 
  • Maintaining time and expense analysis and reports information on all operatives and their costs 
  • Promotion and targeting existing customers and prospecting new companies
  • Control and manage resources required to provide service to a recognised high standard within ISO 9001: standard
  • Customer focus, interface, liaison and technical backup and support
  • Completing and recording all legally required documentation

  • Control of vehicles, system maintenance for service
  • All Health & Safety aspects SOP’s overview and controls
  • Staff training and engagement
  • Staff development plans
  • Electrical and mechanical experience and knowledge
