Hart Door Systems

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

The pace of change in our working environment is occurring hourly. Government decree restrictions are severely affecting operations.   Hart Door Systems are financially secure with significant cash reserves.  Our strategy is to maintain operations for as long as is practical whilst observing Government guidelines and minimising risk to employees.

Up until Tuesday 24th March we were 100% operational however: –

The closure of hotels from 24th has meant all installation and service crews have returned to H.O.

we are maintaining install and service possibly for a very limited time because of travel restriction and closure of customer sites.

We are currently maintaining production, prioritising supply only contracts and will continue whilst we have resource.

Some of our material suppliers have closed under Government advice and others are still operating.

We have employed a split shift work pattern and a number of other risk prevention measures and will continue to produce for as long as possible. We have a reduced level of production operatives due to individual circumstances whether it be childcare dependency or self isolation. However, we will bring installation teams into the factory to provide resource.

We are doing our utmost to maintain production but because of the pace of change cannot give specifics until things settle in a few days perhaps by the end of the week. We shall then follow up confirming delivery information and keep you informed.

The Government has advised their controls will be effective for 1- 3 months as things develop and become clear they will advise.

Finally our team policy is to take every opportunity to keep production going and are working very hard to achieve this.

We thank you for your support in these unprecedented times and wish you well.

Please contact Kyle Pendergood, Contracts Manager on 07802 219 237 if you have any queries regarding your installation.

For any Sales queries contact the office on 0191 214 0404

As the situation develops, we will continue to monitor our position closely and adapt accordingly.

This is a difficult time for individuals and business alike, but we aim to minimise the impact and wish everyone good health at this difficult time.
If we can help in anyway during this period please do not hesitate to contact Alan Richardson, John Loftus, Doug Hart or Nick Hart – they jointly have almost 150 years with the business and ensure that together we will all get through these difficult times.
