At St. Pancras, two main areas have Hart fire shutters and standard roller shutters, the services area and the main retail area.

St. Pancras station, one of London’s premier railway stations, built in Victorian times was refurbished to modern standards however still marinating it’s architectural heritage. This huge project took several years and involved total reconstruction of service and shopping areas. Hart completed fire and security roller shutters throughout this project.

Contracts were carried out for Costain, O’Rouke, Bachy and Emcor Rail (CORBER), OAG and ISG.

Hart designed and manufactured a wide range of doors including fire, security and speedor automatic high speed variants varying in sizes from two meters to eight meters on this contract worth £400,000 to Hart.

Both contracts indicate Hart’s ability to work within the strict disciplines of major, complex, contracts. Hart’s reputation for technical excellence, backed up its national network of installation and service engineers, developed over many years, giving Hart a distinct edge when involved in major infrastructure projects such as Terminal 5 and St. Pancras.
